Dr. Yu has been with Gyn ob Associates for 25 years. She earned her medical degree from Brown University. She completed her residency training at Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Yu is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is also a fellow of ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology). She has been a director of Family Planning for 25 years.

She gladly takes on challenges of high-risk pregnancy and enjoys performing complex minimally invasive surgery. 

Dr. Yu  educates patients with her straightforward style and encourages them to ask questions and be active participants in their own healthcare.  Dr. Yu enjoys guiding women through the many changes that occur in life with her expertise and experience. 

As a mother of two, Dr. Yu believes it is important for women to integrate healthy living for themselves while balancing work and family. Patients love Dr. Yu for the gift of her time, warmth, and empathy.

Dr. Yu lives with her husband, 2 children, aging parents and 2 cats.
